Where does it come from?

Denatured alcohol is produced by fermenting sugar starches, such as those from beets or sugar cane. It can also be synthesized, though Oliveda exclusively uses alcohol derived from natural fermentation processes.

It also aids other active ingredients to penetrate more effectively and serves as a preservative.  It enhances the deposition of pigments, such as in foundations, and aids in the comfort of application.
