How is it used in our products?
Ascorbic Acid is used, for example, in F81 AHA + HT Face Serum and F83 HT + Vitamin C Face Serum from OLIVEDA. Its inclusion protects and stabilizes the active ingredients and enhances their effectiveness. By combining Ascorbic Acid with polypeptides from citrus pulp the absorption properties are increased. Due to its sensitivity to light and air, we use opaque, air-restrictive containers to protect it from oxidation.
