What are the benefits?

What are the benefits?

  • Anti-Aging: Ascorbic Acid helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by boosting collagen production and fighting oxidative stress.
  • Dark Spot Fading: It aids in reducing discolorations and hyperpigmentation, leading to a more even skin tone.
  • Even Skin Tone: Regular use can improve uneven skin tone and overall skin radiance.
  • pH Balancing: Enhancing the efficacy and stability of active ingredients.

How is it used in our products?

Ascorbic Acid is used, for example, in F81 AHA + HT Face Serum and F83 HT + Vitamin C Face Serum from OLIVEDA. Its inclusion protects and stabilizes the active ingredients and enhances their effectiveness.  By combining Ascorbic Acid with polypeptides from citrus pulp the absorption properties are increased.  Due to its sensitivity to light and air, we use opaque, air-restrictive containers to protect it from oxidation.
