Where does it come from?

Candelilla Wax is harvested from the Candelilla shrub (Euphorbia cerifera), which grows naturally in the Chihuahuan Desert regions of northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. The wax is extracted by boiling the plant in water and collecting the wax that rises to the surface.

Its film-forming properties can seal in hydration while giving products a smooth, luxurious feel on the skin.
