Event Manager - Waterless Beauty
Part Time
Hours: 15-20 hours/week
Part-time remote / part-time in the office
What you will do
- Plan incentive trips
- Plan congresses and product fairs
- Execute incentive travel plans
- Execute plans for conventions and product exhibitions
- Create event content
- Implement an event communication strategy
- Research industry trends
- Build camaraderie in the team
What you will need
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5-7+ years experience in the events industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and team members within a team environment
- Ability to travel in connection with running events and to work late nights/weekends
- Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of contract and supplier negotiations
- Knowledge and understanding of complex event tools and registration software
- Experience in leading and executing various corporate events
- Ability to work cross-departmentally with functional colleagues
- Prior knowledge of creating and managing budgets
- Able to drive strategic initiatives through others while achieving results themselves
- Passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for customers and sales leaders

- Can resolve escalated issues arising from operations that require coordination with other departments
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
- Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced and stressful environment
