Glucomannan is most commonly obtained from the root of the konjac plant (Amorphophallus konjac), which is native to parts of Asia. The konjac root is naturally rich in glucomannan fiber, which is purified and processed for use in cosmetic and skincare formulations.

Its strong water-binding properties help hold moisture within the patch and maintain close contact with the skin, allowing the formula to provide a soft, conditioned, and refreshed skin feel during use.
