Where does it come from?
Lavandula oil is primarily sourced from the lavender plant, Lavandula angustifolia, which originates from the Mediterranean region. Other varietals in Oliveda products include lavandula pedunculata and lavandula hybrids. Today, lavender is cultivated in many parts of the world, with major production centers in France, Bulgaria, and Spain. The oil is extracted through steam distillation of the lavender flowers, a process that captures the essential oils while preserving their natural properties.
