Where does it come from?
Saccharide isomerate is sourced from plant-derived sugars, primarily from corn. The process of isomerization modifies the structure of these sugars, enhancing their ability to bind with moisture and integrate with the skin's natural components.
Prolonged Hydration: It effectively binds moisture to the skin, providing long-lasting hydration. This unique binding mechanism allows it to adhere to the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin) and resist being washed away, ensuring continuous moisture retention until natural desquamation occurs.
Hyaluronic Acid Production: It stimulates fibroblasts to increase the production of hyaluronic acid by up to 66%, which helps to smooth fine lines, improve skin volume, and maintain a youthful appearance.
