What are the benefits?
- Moisturize the skin: Sodium hyaluronate attracts moisture in skin cells, minimizing irritation and flaking by maximizing skin hydration. Its low molecular weight provides a greater hydrating benefit compared to HA.
- Rejuvenating: By hydrating the skin, sodium hyaluronate minimizes the signs of maturing skin by contributing to tone and elasticity.
- Soothing: Sodium hyaluronate can soothe and calm the skin. It promotes tissue renewal and can minimize the irritation from skin conditions.
- Renewal: Sodium hyaluronate advances cell multiplication and tissue renewal, promoting cell renewal. It also has purifying effects that protect the skin.
- Hydration: It can hydrate oily skin without blocking pores or causing greasiness.
How is it used in our products?
Sodium hyaluronate is included for its rejuvenating and moisturizing properties and ability to contribute to tautness levels, smooth out skin, and hydrate the skin. Its small molecules penetrate the skin quickly and hold up to 1,000 times their weight in water. This can replace water in the dermis as the skin matures and can minimize the signs of maturing skin. Sodium hyaluronate adjusts its moisture absorption based on the relative humidity in the air. It also scavenges reactive oxygen species created by UV rays, which can diminish sunspots and other dark spots.
Sodium hyaluronate is used in F06, F08, F09, F59, F60, F64, F65, F67, F74, F81, F86, B16, B19, and I70 from OLIVEDA and 001, 002, 003, 004, 007, and 008 from LA DOPE, and Serum Hydroxytyrosol Skin Tint from OLIVE ROSE.
