What are the benefits?

  • Rejuvenating: Ascorbic Acid can minimize the appearance of maturing skin by contributing to collagen production and protecting from environmental factors.
  • Dark Spot Fading: It serves in minimizing discolorations and hyperpigmentation, leading to a more even skin tone.
  • Even Skin Tone: Regular use can contribute to even skin tone and overall skin radiance.
  • pH Level: Maintains the pH level and the efficacy and stability of active ingredients.

How is it used in our products?

Ascorbic Acid is used, for example, in F81 AHA + HT Face Serum and F83 HT + Vitamin C Face Serum from OLIVEDA. Its inclusion protects and stabilizes the active ingredients and contributes to their efficacy.  By combining Ascorbic Acid with polypeptides from citrus pulp the absorption properties are amplified.  Due to its sensitivity to light and air, we use opaque, air-restrictive containers to protect it from oxidation.
