After years of struggling with her skin, Magda Lommel turned to the one place that always brought her peace: the Mediterranean. Born in Mallorca and raised between cultures, Magda grew up surrounded by slow beauty rituals and natural remedies passed down through generations like the olive mask Thomas used to apply when Magda was 2 . But it wasn’t until years later, while researching ingredients that could truly improve the skin, that she discovered hydroxytyrosol — a powerful antioxidant found in olives, and a compound that would quietly transform her skin and overall skin wellbeing.

That moment sparked an idea: what if skincare and makeup didn’t have to be separate? What if makeup could be as nourishing and impactful as a serum or cream but still feel light, effortless, and glow-enhancing?

Together with her father, Magda founded OLIVE ROSE, a makeup brand powered by hydroxytyrosol and inspired by the balance and simplicity of Mediterranean living. Each formula is waterless, gentle, packed with benefits, and created to support skin — not cover it.
