Can I cancel my order?

We’re happy to cancel your order if we’re able to catch it in time. If the label hasn’t been printed and the order hasn’t been sent to fulfillment, we’ll gladly cancel it and issue a full refund.

Please note that while we do our best, cancellations aren’t always possible once the fulfillment process has started.

If you’d like to request a cancellation, please reach out to our Customer Support Team with your order number.

Can I change the shipping address?

We’re happy to update your shipping address if we’re able to catch your order before the label is printed. Simply reach out to our Customer Support Team with your order number and the updated shipping address, and we’ll do our best to make the change if possible.

Can I edit or change products in my order?

We always love to assist our Waterless Beauty customers! If we can update or edit your order before it's sent to fulfillment and shipping, we’ll be happy to help.

How do I check the status of my order?

Please sign in to your Olive Tree People account using your email address at the following link: https://us.olivetreepeople.com/account.

Once you're logged in, click on the "Orders" section to proceed to find details about your orders.

Simply sign into your OTP account and click on "Orders" for a quick summary of your order status.

How do I purchase a gift card?

To purchase a Waterless Beauty gift card, please visit us here.

Your gift card will be emailed shortly after purchase to the email address provided at checkout.

My order was marked delivered, but it's not here. What do I do?

From time to time, delivery carriers may mark a package as “Delivered” up to 24–48 hours before it actually arrives.
We recommend checking around your property, including front and back porches, side doors, garage areas, and any usual drop-off spots. Please also check with household members, neighbors, or building staff (such as a front desk or lobby attendant) who may have accepted the package on your behalf.
If it’s been more than 3 business days since the tracking was marked “Delivered” and your package still hasn’t arrived, please reach out to our Customer Support Team.
We’ll be happy to investigate and work toward a resolution as quickly as possible.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We are happy to accept all major credit cards at checkout.

Please note that all LA Dope purchases will be seamlessly processed through the Bankful payment platform.

Returns and Exchanges

Are returns free?

Our Customer Support Team will provide you with a prepaid shipping label to return your items for a refund. Please note that a $7 fee per order returned will be deducted from your refund or voucher amount.

How do I return an item?

For our Retail Customers:

  • Products can be returned within 365 days from the date of receipt if you are not satisfied for any reason.
  • Returns must be initiated through your account on our website. Log in, go to "Orders," find your order, and select "Return Items." Indicate the item(s), reason for the return, and any comments.
  • Upon approval, a prepaid shipping label will be provided. Please note that a $7 fee for this label will be deducted from your refund.
  • Once the return is received, please allow 7-10 business days for processing. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, and an email confirmation will be sent.
  • Please reach out to our Customer Support Team with any questions.

For our Waterless Beauty Consultants:

  • Products can be returned within 60 days from the date of receipt.
  • The return process is the same as for Retail Customers.
How do I start an exchange?

Product exchanges are available within the following timeframes:

  • Retail Customers: Within 365 days of receiving your order
  • Consultants: Within 60 days of receiving your order

    To initiate an exchange, please contact our Customer Support Team. A prepaid shipping label will be provided for your return. Once we receive your returned item(s), a store credit voucher will be emailed to you within 7–10 business days. You can then use the voucher toward a new purchase.
What is your return policy?

Our Refund and Return Policy

For our Retail Customers:

Product Exchanges:

  • Product exchanges are available within 60 days of delivery. Please contact our Customer Support Team to initiate an exchange and a prepaid shipping label will be provided. 
  • After we receive your return, a product voucher will be emailed to you within 7-10 business days, which can be used for a new purchase.

Damaged or Incorrectly Shipped Products:

  • If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped products, please contact our Customer Support Team immediately and provide a photo of the product(s). Any issues must be reported within 15 days of receiving your order. 
  • Please examine your products immediately upon receipt, any issues must be reported within 15 days of receiving your order. 
  • If desired, we will replace all such products. However, if an exchange is not possible, we reserve the right to issue a refund for the returned product.
  • Statutory warranty rules and periods apply.

Please Note:

  • Returns sent without first initiating a return as outlined above will not be accepted.
  • Gifts included in your order must be returned.
  • Sets or packs must be returned as a complete set.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payer using the original payment method.
  • If you purchase OLIVE TREE PEOPLE products from unauthorized retailers or websites, we cannot provide a refund or assistance.

OLIVE TREE PEOPLE reserves the right to make the final decision if the returned product is in unsatisfactory condition or if the above terms are not met. For any questions or assistance, please contact our Customer Support Team with your details, receipt number, and reason for the return.

*The guarantee applies exclusively to OLIVEDA and LA DOPE.  The 365-day return period applies to Retail Customers, while Waterless Beauty Consultants have a 60-day return period.

When can I expect a refund?

Once we receive your return, please allow our Returns Department 7-10 business days to process it.

You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your refund has been initiated, detailing the amount and confirming that it’s been applied to your original form of payment.

How can I edit my subscription?

Simply sign onto your OTP account here: https://us.olivetreepeople.com/account/login and navigate to "Manage Product Subscriptions" to edit, modify, or cancel your subscriptions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Simply sign onto your OTP account here: https://us.olivetreepeople.com/account/login and navigate to "Manage Product Subscriptions" to cancel your subscriptions.

To cancel your subscription, click on the product subscription, scroll to the bottom of the page, and select "Cancel Subscription."

How do I skip my next subscription?

Simply sign onto your OTP account here: https://us.olivetreepeople.com/account/login and navigate to "Manage Product Subscriptions" to modify your subscriptions.

Once you select the product subscription, click on the subscription with the arrow. Under the order date, you can either choose a new date or click "Skip Order" at the bottom of the subscription page.

How can I earn a gift for my order?

To make sure your gift is included with your order, just follow these simple steps:

Take the OliveBrain Quiz: Complete the quiz to get your personalized product recommendations.

Add Your Recommended Products: Select at least two items from the quiz results page and add them to your cart. It’s important to add these products directly from the quiz results page to ensure your gift is automatically included.

See Your Gift: Once you’ve added two products from the OliveBrain Quiz page, the gift will automatically appear in your cart (for Retail Customers only).

Checkout: Complete your purchase with your selected items and gift in your cart.

Important Tip: If you leave the quiz page and shop elsewhere, the gift will not appear in your cart. Unfortunately, we are not able to add the gift once the order is finalized.

Are product bottles refillable or recyclable?

All of our product bottles are recyclable.

Currently, they are not refillable in the United States as the products are made in Germany.

Are your products or ingredients organic?

OLIVE TREE PEOPLE’s Organic Certifications:

CAAE ECO-CERTIFICATION

OLIVE TREE PEOPLE’s 30,000+ mountainous olive trees in Andalusia, Spain have been organically Eco-Certified by CAAE, the Spanish agricultural agency.

PESTICIDES + CHEMICALS STATEMENT

Mayoress of Arroyomolinos de Leon has organically certified that Olive Tree People’s 30,000+ mountainous olive trees in Andalusia, Spain are located in a government-protected natural park where not a single chemical has been spread or fed to these trees for over 60 years. 

What is Organic?

  • Bioactive raw materials from OLIVEDA’s olive trees, including Olea Europaea olive leaf extract and olive leaf cell elixir, which contain the polyphenolic compounds Hydroxytyrosol and Oleuropein, as well as the Arbequina olive oil, are organically Eco-Certified by CAAE. This constitutes approximately 96% of an OLIVEDA product.
  • Plant extracts, active ingredients, organic compounds, and natural preservatives are some of the ingredients that constitute approximately 4% of an OLIVEDA product. Sourced for their natural origins, commitment to sustainable practices, or environmentally friendly profiles, many hold certifications such as Ecocert™, COSMOS, Ecolabel, NATRUE, and the Natural Products Association, many are organically certified by EU standards.

“All raw materials falling under the scope of EU Council Regulation 834/2007, which will mean they have been certified as organic, will have an organic certificate confirming that the substance comes from organic production.

However, this legislation covers agricultural products for use as food only. Thus, whenever a raw material is outside the scope of the EU Organic Regulation or any other organic agricultural regulation, there might be a break in the chain of custody: the organic certificate may only cover the primary product (e.g., the plant) and not the processed cosmetic raw material (e.g., the extract). This breakage introduces uncertainty. It means that the finished product manufacturer cannot unambiguously know if the cosmetic raw material is organic or not. The increased uncertainty impacts the manufacturer’s ability to support such a claim. To surpass the problem, manufacturers can select raw materials certified as organic according to private standard label certifications.

Moreover, the French ARPP states that a cosmetic product can be presented as organic if it meets at least one of the following requirements:

  • It contains 100% of certified organic ingredients;
  • It has been certified as organic by a certification body;
  • It has been proved that the cosmetic has been produced with organic ingredients equivalent in terms of composition and content to the levels required by the certification bodies.”
Can I be notified when products are back in stock?

If the product is listed as Sold Out, on the right edge of that webpage, you’ll see a black tab that says "Notify me when available." Simply click on this tab and enter your phone number or email address to receive a notification when the product is back in stock—so you won’t miss out!

Do your products contain synthetic fragrances?

What is it?

Fragrance, also listed as Parfum on skincare product labels, can be natural or synthetic aromatic ingredients that provide a scent to skincare products. At OLIVEDA, we only use fragrances derived from natural origins.  Our fragrances are compositions of essential oils derived from plants. The specific blend of ingredients in a fragrance is considered a trade secret, meaning that companies are not required to disclose the exact components.

Where is it from?

Natural origin fragrances, the category used at OLIVEDA, are derived from plant materials such as flowers, fruits, herbs, and spices, through processes like distillation or extraction.  Our products use up to 21 unique essential oils listed under the legally prescribed collective term “parfum” in the EU and “fragrance” in the US. 

What are the benefits?  

AROMATHERAPY, HEALING, ENHANCING

  • Pleasant Sensory Experience: Fragrance enhances the overall user experience by providing a pleasant scent that can evoke emotions, memories, and a sense of well-being.
  • Aromatherapy Benefits: Some fragrances derived from essential oils may offer aromatherapy benefits, such as relaxation, stress relief, or invigoration.
  • Natural Antimicrobial Properties: Some fragrances derived from essential oils, such as tea tree or eucalyptus, have natural antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, which can benefit the skin.
  • Brand Identity: Fragrance is often used to create a signature scent for a product line, helping to establish a unique brand identity that contributes to consumer loyalty.

How is it used in our products?

Fragrances (natural origin only) are used in less than 50% of OLIVEDA products, in 0% of LA DOPE products, and 0% in OLIVE ROSE.  It is included for its aromatherapy and healing properties, which create a sensory and mood-enhancing experience while providing relaxation, stress relief, and mood enhancement. The fresh or soothing natural scents linger on the skin, making the product more enjoyable.

How often are products made?

At OLIVE TREE PEOPLE, we produce our products every three months to ensure the highest bioactivity in our formulas, which are free from synthetic preservatives.

This limited production schedule means that items may occasionally sell out while we wait for a new shipment from Germany. Unlike many brands that produce annually and rely on synthetic preservatives and stabilizers, our quarterly production cycle reflects our commitment to freshness, natural ingredients, and delivering the most effective products possible.

Is the product ok if exposed to heat? or cold?

Our products are well-protected by amber glass bottles, which are resistant to heat, cold, and sun damage as the amber glass also blocks UV light. For our shipping packaging, we use paper and cardboard instead of plastic, which also protects your order if left in the hot sun or freezing snow when delivered.

If your product delivery was exposed to heat, please open the box, shake each product (without opening), and place your products in the fridge for 10 minutes to restore them to room temperature. Once the products have cooled to room temperature, open them to check that the ingredients have not separated. If they appear separated, use a stir or the end of a teaspoon and give them a brisk stir to re-blend.

If your product delivery was exposed to cold, please let them return to room temperature and briskly stir to re-blend if necessary.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Our products are made in Germany every three months to ensure they arrive with the freshest bioactive ingredients perfectly sealed in.

On each product label, you'll notice an open jar logo with a number followed by an "M," indicating how many months the product remains fresh after opening.

For our internal products, we recommend using them within three months of opening and storing them in the refrigerator. 

Our unopened products can remain fresh if stored for 30 months at room temperature.
