Where does it come from?
Candelilla Wax is harvested from the Candelilla shrub (Euphorbia cerifera), which grows naturally in the Chihuahuan Desert regions of northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. The wax is extracted by boiling the plant in water and collecting the wax that rises to the surface.

Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax is used in HT Blush Glow and HT Shaping Contour from OLIVE ROSE. It is included in our makeup formulations as an emollient and thickening agent, that contributes to texture and provides structure to formulations. Its film-forming properties can seal in hydration while giving products a smooth, luxurious feel on the skin.
