Active Ingredient.
Active ingredients deliver targeted benefits tothe skin and hair and have beenstudied for their contributions. They are the "workhorses" of our formulations, responsible for addressing specific skin concerns, such asblemishes, maturing skin, uneven skin tone, orredness and irritation. They do this by penetrating the skin's surface, binding to receptors, altering skin processes, or providing a protective barrier. All of our active ingredients originate from nature.
Our formulas never change, even as nature does. In over 20 years of creating products in synergy with nature, our formulas have never changed. Every year, the wisdom of nature brings us a new harvest with its own unique variations; an olive or apple harvest will taste a little different each year. And because we choose to work with bioactive raw materials instead of refined materials, these natural variations in taste, color, and scent are an authentic part of our products.

Emulsifier.
An emulsifier is an ingredient added to an emulsion formula that helps mix two or more liquids that typically do not blend well, such as oil and liquid. In skincare formulations, emulsifiers are crucial for creating stable products like creams and other emulsions. Without emulsifiers, these products would separate into their individual oil and liquid components, resulting in an uneven and ineffective formulation.
