Where does it come from?
Vanillin naturally occurs in the seed pods of the Vanilla planifolia orchid, which is primarily cultivated in Madagascar, Mexico, and Tahiti. While vanillin is derived from vanilla beans, another plant-based, sustainable source is lignin (the wood pulp).
